I hated taking the bus to school so I walked every day. For some reason or other it really made the bus driver mad. I was told that if I didn’t take the bus, I wouldn’t be allowed to take the bus.
I would beat the bus home every day and I’d stand in that picture window and wave at the bus driver when she went by.
