Scare ‘em All Away 

This is the story about a brooding hermit that wanted to be left alone.  He built his house far away from the nearest village and miles from the nearest gravel road.  He had a meager garden but he had a formidable scarecrow at the top of the hill.  It was not meant to keep out only the birds.
