Elephant in the Sun |
||||
|
I was playing around with a watercolor painting and I ended up with this elephant in the sun. I tossed it in the garbage and went on to the next drawing. My father came over for a visit and he picked through my art room garbage and pulled this painting and he asked me if he could have it. I told him to leave it in the garbage and I’ll make him a good one. He said no, he wanted this one. He framed this crummy painting and kept it on the wall in his law office until he died. My daughter saw it and wanted to have it. It has been hanging in her room ever since. Go figure. |
