A Day at the Races

We are fortunate enough to live near one of the best race tracks in the world.   The Arlington Park racetrack is a wonderful place to spend the day.

I worked at the Weber-Stephen company only a few miles away when the old track burnt to the ground.  This track rose from the ashes.

A group of us got together in 2005 to enjoy a day at the track.

It was nice to sit outside but in the summer heat we go inside until the race.

The Girls bet on a horse named Ituna and it came in first.

There isn’t a bad view anywhere in the park.

This woman blows the horn before each race.

Waiting for Ituna.
